About the cohort
Designed for education sector leaders from the field, The 2024 Emerging Leaders Cohort is a learning and leadership opportunity that brings together early career leaders who are engaged in building a modernized digital ecosystem in their district.
We aim to build a supportive talent pipeline for early-career data professionals within education. This initiative will strengthen the understanding of foundational interoperability issues and expose them to a network of engaged professionals. We plan to build capacity in the field through meaningful connections with implementors.
Who Should Apply?
Early career district and charter leaders, especially those who feel siloed or are just starting their interoperability journey, are eligible to apply. This also applies to those seeking support and interested in cohort-based learning. Personnel from educational service agencies, support agencies, and state agencies are also welcome to apply!
eligibility Requirements
To be a part of this cohort, participants must sign the School Network Pledge, complete the School System Data Survey, and be within their first five years in their role.
What do cohort participants receive?
Through a series of interactive, virtual workshops and meetings from leading experts in data interoperability, you'll learn the basics and explore emerging trends and hot topics.
Build Knowledge: You'll be in a cohort of 20 people who will learn with and alongside you, sharing their unique perspectives and experiences.
Learn with a Cohort: At the end of the cohort experience, you'll apply your knowledge in a micro capstone.
Be Part of a National Network: Be recognized as a leader in your field and build relationships to further your skills and career.
